Worst place ever. Don't waste your money or time. Ray and Von wouldn't even get us ice let alone wood even after we paid for it. They were to busy drinking and visiting to do their job.
Grounds were clean, staff was friendly. Showers were cleaned daily. Bathrooms were clean and stocked well. Nice atmosphere. Close to the river with its own boat launch. Great price. Definitely a place I will be coming back to.
I can't fully put into words just how wonderful Ray and Von are. They have created a micro paradise at Dewdrop, and from what I hear it was not a very nice place to stay before they came in. We were lucky enough to spend the last few days of the season here and everyone was very warm and social, especially Ray and Von. The water was low, but warm and calm. The camp ground is laid out very uniquely and most sites have quite a bit of privacy. I would recommend this place to any family or friend. It was a truly special experience and we drove away with our new adopted family waving farewell. Thank you so very much, and we'll see you soon.
Our site was right on the reservoir, and close to kayak tours and town (about 10 mins). Best campground I've ever been to!
